Comedian Wayne Brady is officially single again though he has been living separately from his wife, Mandie, for three years. According to papers filed Monday in Los Angeles Superior Court, the pair married in April 1999 and officially separated in April 2006, citing irreconcilable differences. They have one daughter, 5-year-old Maile Brady. The couple’s divorce was just finalized this week.

The couple used a mediator to arrive at a final divorce settlement. Details about their child custody, child support and property-division arrangements were not made public.

The multi-talented Brady said in a statement issued by his publicist that:
“Mandie is my best friend. We still love each other and we are raising our beautiful daughter Maile together as a team,”

Brady recently guest-starred on TV’s “Everybody Hates Chris” and “How I Met Your Mother.”

Brady was great on “Whose Line Is It Anyway? ” but my favorite mold breaking performance for him was on the Chappelle show, where Wayne and Dave do a flashback sequence, which parodies the 2001 film Training Day.
