House Bunny star Anna Faris says it was no laughing matter when she was asked to shed 10 lbs. for her No. 1 box office comedy The House Bunny.

"It was awful. I had to work out a lot and could only eat certain things. It
was the regime of it all that I didn't enjoy," she recently told Fox News. "But I've gained all the weight back now."

Despite a svelte figure, she said she was still uncomfortable showing any
skin in the comedy, which debuted at No. 2 over the weekend, with $15.1
million. (With $16.1 million, Tropic Thunder still maintained the top spot for a second weekend in a row.)

"For the first two weeks of shooting, I wore my robe and wouldn't take it
off until we filmed," Faris said. "But then I realized nobody cared; the
cast and crew really didn't care."

What was it like sharing the screen with Hugh Hefner and the "Girls Next Door" in the movie?

"I was expecting a natural female competitiveness," she said. "But I was
surprised it wasn't like that at all. The girls were so down-to-earth and
really generous."
